![]() Organisations’ personnel are thus encouraged to stick to their time management practices as a strategy to achieving organisational objectives. Using analysis of variance on data obtained from respondents, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected with the values Fc>Ft, that is 4.23>3.48. From the evidence of the respondents, it was deduced that time management, when properly implemented, help in improving organisational productivity, hence time management is very important. This study used a descriptive survey research design wherein survey research questionnaires were primarily employed, covering a population of 150 staffs from 32 organisations, situated in Abuja Municipal Area Council of Abuja, Nigeria. ![]() A conscious control, when imposed over the amount of time spent in doing daily activities would enable one to divide priorities, and set deadlines for them-accordingly, one would be able to effectively accomplish objectives in an organisation within the set time frame. ![]() This paper seeks to examine the significance of general ideas of some time management principles and techniques, their roles, and impact in achieving organisational objectives. Time management is simply the process of organising and planning how to divide and arrange your schedule amongst specific undertakings in order to maximise effectiveness in an efficient manner.
